We are committed to using fresh Local produce from places and people we know nearby and believe it is important to support local producers whilst offering our Guests a great taste of Lincolnshire.

Savor the delights of our wholesome, homemade breakfasts. From the breakfast bar, start the day with some fruit juice, a selection of cereals, maybe porridge with local honey and fresh cream or alternatively homemade muesli topped with our own apple or berry compote, fresh fruit and yoghurt.

Our full Caxton breakfast will keep you going throughout the day.  Lincolnshire sausages, (Gluten free sausages are available) and bacon, free range eggs from tastee's farm shop however you like your eggs just ask, grilled tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and baked beans plus our special Lincolnshire potato oattie. All cooked to your individual preference, Follow this up with Toast and our selection of homemade preserves.

Clive our chef changes his evening menu daily based around the local seasonal produce available. 

You may be offered soup using lobster caught by Sukat, aka matt & John our local fishermen, Beef & ale Pudding, beef sourced from Bob at Holmes Butchers flavoured with dark lord ale from local Bateman's brewery. Desert could be a range of winter crumbles using locally foraged fruit such as blackberries or apples, or a light fluffy home baked jam sponge and custard.

You can mix and match Bed &Breakfast combining evening dinner on selected days.

If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know and we'll do our best to satisfy them. Vegetarian, Vegan dairy free, gluten free etc €“ no problem with advance notice, we are happy to build a menu around your requirements. Just give us a ring to discuss your needs.

Tastee Farm shop - All our eggs come from here, you can see their chickens scratching about in the fields next to their shop, try our breakfast and taste the difference.

Holmes butchers
Based in Burgh-le- Marsh for over 80 years. Bob the Master butcher takes great care in finding out what his customers want. He makes our Lincolnshire sausages, as well as supplying the majority of our meat. They offer a great choice range as well such as oxtail, rabbit and game.

Gunby Hall has a fantastic Victorian garden from which we regularly purchase home grown fruit & vegetables, It's a wonderful place for a day out and you can visit the house as well, look out for one of the many events there.

Sukat fish
sells fish locally caught of the Skegness coast, tasty crab and lobster as well as sea bass, skate and more. The ingredients for Pauls delicious Lobster soup, and Thai crab cakes are sourced from here, along with seasonal fish as available.

Alford Windmill our evening bread is made using flour from this mill, and our porridge and homemade muesli use their oats. You can have a tour of the mill as well as enjoy tea at the tearoom. You might even have Anzac cookies made from their Jumbo Oats on your arrival to Caxton along with pot of tea or coffee.

Belleau Trout farm & smokery delicious fresh as well as smoked trout. We also buy our watercress from here when in season, Start your holiday day (when available) with smoked trout with scrambled eggs for breakfast served on a lightly toasted muffin. Mmmm.

Saints and Sinners preserves Elaine produces a unique range of jams and chutneys as well as mustards which we use to supplement our own, learn how to make your own jam at one of her courses.

Goatwood cheese we buy from farmers markets but you can buy online too and at the farm gate.
